The camp ground is only 700 metres from the Apollo Bay shops and the golf course.

The park enjoys full beach frontage and is adjacent to the Marengo Reef Marine Sanctuary with resident Seal Colony, ideal for swimming diving and snorkelling. Situated at the beginning of the Great Ocean Walk the park offers unlimited options for bushwalking.

Princetown Recreation Reserve is located on the Great Ocean Road just 6km’s from the 12 Apostles, this relaxed park offers the closest camping to the Port Campbell National Park.
