About

Moonah is a small fine dining restaurant, Created by Chef Tobin Kent, Moonah will offer guests a dining experience that highlights the beauty of nature in the region.

The restaurant is nestled amongst the vines of The Minya winery, established in 1974 by Jeff and Sue Dans. Seating only 12 guests, each table has a panoramic view over the surrounding billabong, whilst receiving the very highest level of service.

Chef Tobin Kent has a great passion for regional dining, with a keen eye for quality and detail. He has worked in some of the country’s best restaurants such as Gladioli (Inverleigh), The Royal Mail Hotel (Dunkeld) and Brae (Birregurra) where he honed his skills as a fine-dining chef. Tobin’s cooking style has a strong connection with nature and he values his time searching for ingredients as much as his time in the kitchen resulting in food that is honest, pure and delicious.

Moonah offers a single multi-course menu served over approximately three hours. Ingredients are sourced strictly from local producers, the wild or chef Tobin Kent’s kitchen garden. All dietary requirements will be happily catered for, but must be confirmed at the time of booking due to the complexity of the menu.

Bookings are essential.
