1. Big Hill Campsite, Lorne.

Big Hill is located near the intersection of Big Hill Track and Lorne-Deans Marsh Road, Benwerrin, a short ten minute drive from Lorne into the forest. Big Hill is separated into tent sites and campervan/caravan sites.

Available facilities: car parking, toilets, communal fireplaces. Parks Victoria’s Big Hill must be pre-booked.

2. Allenvale Mill Site, Lorne.

Allenvale Mill Site is a large open grassy area for tents only in the heart of the Otway National Park. The site is surrounded by tall forest and has good access to walking tracks in the surrounding park, including Phantom Falls and St George River Walk.

There is no vehicle access to the camp sites, although they are a short walk (200m) from the carpark. Fires are not permitted at any time. This is a paid site that must be pre-booked.

3. Cora Lynn Campground, Lorne.

For the more adventurous campers and hikers, try Cora Lynn Camping Area. This is a hike-in site, approximately 800 metres walk from Blanket Leaf Picnic Area via the Cora Lynn Cascade Walking Track. There are no facilities at the site and there is limited space at this site, campers should be self-sufficient.
