About

The Kangaroobie Klassic is an adventure race with swimming, mountain biking, kayaking and trail run legs. Participate relay style (as part of a team) or tackle the lot as an individual. 2023 marks the 13th anniversary of this event.

With distances that are achievable with some training, the Klassic has become an annual exercise goal for the weekend battlers, born again exercisers and occasionally those that have recently been coaxed off the couch with a packet of Tim-Tams.

So join as a participant, bring the kids or just hang out with some fine coffee to cheer them on, take in the views and leave the puff to someone else.

The organisers will be doing everything they can to ensure that they run a COVID safe, supportive and inclusive event for participants and spectators. This will require them to be agile and responsive to current advice from DHHS. Register early to avoid disappointment and link in to the social channels for up to the minute information.

Main Event Legs and Distances:

Swim one kilometre – one kilometre run uphill to transition – Mountain Bike 14 kilometres – one kilometre run downhill to kayak leg – one kilometre run uphill to final transition six kilometre trail run to finish.

Includes the Gellibrand Eel junior Adventure Triathlon and the Kangaroobie Junior Ninja Trail Run.
