About

Great Ocean Road Wildlife Park and Dingo Awareness Centre is family run wildlife park with an eco-vision and a deep respect for Natural Order. Located on the Great Ocean Road between Lavers Hill and Princetown, a 15-minute drive from the 12 Apostles.

Some of the activities you can enjoy include:

Hand feed the kangaroos, wallabies and emus in the petting area.

Take a stroll around the sanctuary and observe animals in a more natural setting.

Treat yourself to a hands-on dingo encounter and an enriching educational experience.

Read the hand-painted signage and learn about the values of natural living.

Grab a coffee or homemade snack at the Earthbound Café. The café also has an open fireplace (operational in cold weather).

Or you can bring a picnic lunch to eat at one of the lookouts or in the picnic area.

The park’s Dingo Awareness Centre is focused on broadening public awareness of these iconic, yet misunderstood animals. Unbeknown to most, Dingoes are positioned at the uppermost point of the food chain, and their role, likened to that of the lion, and the wolf, is to ensure ecological stability. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to come face to face with one of the dingo pairs (conditions apply), while you learn about these incredible animals.
