The Great Ocean Road Wildlife Park is a privately owned business established on 39 acres, just 15 minutes from the 12 Apostles.
Some of the activities you can enjoy include Hand-feeding and interacting with kangaroos, wallabies and emus in the petting area. Stroll around the sanctuary and observe Australian wildlife and herd animals in a more natural free-range environment. Read the signage and learn about the values of natural living.
Experience a hands-on dingo encounter and educational discussion with one of their knowledgeable staff members.
To round off the experience, indulge in an all-organic vegetarian/vegan meal, plus desserts, snacks, coffees and teas in the newly established Clean Cravings Eatery.
The park’s Dingo Awareness Centre is focused on broadening public awareness of these iconic, yet misunderstood animals. Unbeknown to most, dingoes are positioned at the uppermost point of the food chain, and their role, likened to that of the lion, the wolf and sharks in the sea, is to ensure ecological stability. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to come face-to-face with one of their dingo pairs (conditions apply), while you learn about these incredible animals.
