About the Walk

The Koorie Cultural Walk offers insight into the traditional Aboriginal lifestyle, with interpretive signs revealing the Wathaurong people’s deep connection to the land. As you walk, take in the remarkable birdlife, from colourful finches to lively parrots, that thrive in this diverse ecosystem.

The marine park below is a haven for those who enjoy exploring tide pools and rock formations, where you’ll discover a variety of marine life. Underwater, the protected reefs support an impressive range of fish, algae, and vibrant sponge gardens, as well as seals, dolphins, and rhodolith beds – each adding to the unique underwater landscape.
