Join Friends of Mt Leura Inc. for the iconic 4 Peaks Challenge – a rewarding day of walking, nature and community set among the spectacular volcanic landscape of South West Victoria. Participants are invited to summit four of the region’s most impressive volcanic cones in one day: Mount Leura, Mountt Sugarloaf, Mount Noorat, and Mount Elephant.
The challenge is designed for bushwalkers, families and small groups who enjoy a sense of adventure and a moderate physical challenge. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views, unique volcanic geology, and the chance to connect with the natural and cultural heritage of the Camperdown region.
Expect a full day of walking and exploration, scenic summit climbs with terrific views, a supportive, community‑spirited atmosphere, opportunities to learn about the region’s volcanic history, and plentiful flora, and fauna.
Please note some sections include steep and uneven terrain, so a reasonable level of fitness is required. Participants should wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for changing weather conditions. This is a bring your own food, water, and transport event.
