The Great Ocean Road region is famous for its big nature, but it’s also a great destination for mountain biking enthusiasts. From forest single tracks to coastal trails with sweeping ocean views, the region offers a range of experiences suitable for beginners, families, and advanced riders seeking an adrenaline rush.

Forrest Mountain Bike Trails, Forrest

Forrest MTB Trails is internationally renowned for its single tracks, downhill runs, and immersive forest riding, set among dense rainforest and tall eucalypts.

 

The trails suit all skill levels. Intermediate and advanced riders can tackle technical features and jumps, while beginners and adaptive riders have gentler options. Families can also practice on the pump track, a safe space to build balance and confidence.

 

Beyond Forrest, the Southern Network offers stacked-loop trails through wet forests and fern gullies, while the Yaugher Network to the north delivers cross-country trails through grass trees and dry forest, with more challenging runs for riders seeking technical climbs and longer adventures.
