I am here to help you explore the Great Ocean Road region, but I’m still learning and can make mistakes. For the best local advice, visit a visitor information centre. This is a large region, so plan for travel distances and your length of stay.

Testimonials

“Great little Information Centre with helpful staff. The real highlight was the walking tour with Glen. Being a retired schoolteacher, he was able to provide an informative, engaging, entertaining and educational history of Port Fairy.”

“I was really pleased that the tour began with an acknowledgement of Indigenous People’s suffering as part of the history in the area. Very tastefully done. I
only wish I’d been there longer to do the other tours that Glen leads as they would have been great, but time didn’t allow it. If you can put up with his dad
jokes, I highly recommend the guided tours!”

“Last Saturday, we had the delightful opportunity to embark on a walking tour led by the extraordinary volunteer Glen. The tour was not only incredibly informative but also an absolute blast, making the 2.5 hours feel like they passed in the blink of an eye.”

“Glen’s expertise spans across all facets of Port Fairy’s history, from indigenous heritage to trade and industry, maritime history, architecture, town planning and local wildlife. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Glen for providing us with a truly memorable couple of hours. He is undoubtedly an invaluable asset to his community. PS. We even liked the dad jokes.”
