Otways Getaway – 2 Day Itinerary
Day 1
For the first day of your Otways weekend away you’ll be heading to the Great Otways National Park to explore the lush rainforest, discover the cascading waterfalls (that flow all year round) and spot the local wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas and echidnas. There are walks of varying length, time and level so there is something for everyone. After working up an appetite you can enjoy lunch at one of the local cafes, pubs, bistros or general stores.
The rest of the afternoon is a relaxing trip to one of the Otway Coast’s pristine beaches… or maybe not so relaxing — try snorkelling, diving, surfing or make the trip out to the local seal colony.
Day 2
On the second day of your Otways getaway its time for a round of mini-golf and some rock climbing before the last activity of your Otways weekend away, a trip to the Cape Otway Lightstation.
The views from the Lighthouse Balcony are simply magnificent. You can stop in at the Lightkeepers Kitchen for some afternoon refreshments before making your way home after a fantastic Otways getaway.
