About

Dominic Talimanidis grew up on the kitchen floor of this restaurant when the premises was operated as Kostas Taverna by the Talimanidis family from 1976 until 2003.

After trying his hand at various other pursuits, Dominic found himself back in the restaurant industry, at the same venue, in partnership with his parents, Pam & Kosta. Pam oversees the food, while Kosta and Dominic are the front of house.

Ipsos restaurant in Lorne reflects a youthful outlook, being a bit edgy, noisy and always loads of fun.

The menu reflects the family’s love of Greece, where they spent every summer for the past 40 years, eating Kosta’s mother’s amazing food. Dominic, the party goer, makes sure that every customer is looked after, leaving satisfied and contented.

The wine list is an extensive range of local and overseas varieties.
