About

The Warrnambool Racing Club is proud to host the $304,000 Haymes Paint Jericho Cup, honouring the heroic Light Horsemen and their magnificent horses, The Walers, for their heroic deeds in the Middle East from 1914-1919. Revived in its centenary year, this special race day commemorates the 100 year anniversary of the Jericho Cup and will be run as a 4,600m flat race across the Brierly Paddock.

Their racing is that bit more relaxed, more fun, and more connected. Come and support the local community and enjoy the up-close racing action that you’ll only get in the country. Whether you are looking for country casual or a catered experience, there are packages to suit everybody! Country Racing at Warrnambool, it’s our racing and it’s yours too, the moment you arrive.
