Warrnambool’s much-loved Coaster Art Show returns to The F Project Main Gallery, showcasing hundreds of original artworks created on small 95mm coasters by artists of all ages and experience levels.
The exhibition opens with a special Launch Event on Saturday 22 August, featuring a low sensory viewing session from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by the official opening and artwork sales. Visitors can enjoy live music from talented young local musicians from 3:00 PM, while the event will be soundtracked by OD-SWiM, who will launch their new compilation, SUBMERGED 26: South-West Electronic Sounds, with a live performance in The F Project laneway.
Adding to the excitement, there will be heaps of prizes from local businesses allocated on the launch day, a bar operated by The F Project, and the opportunity to purchase unique original artworks directly from participating artists. Coaster Art sales will be available for cash only, payable on the day, and no holds permitted.
Designed to make art accessible, affordable and fun, the Coaster Art Show invites everyone to get involved, whether they are established artists, first-time exhibitors, young creatives or simply keen to try something new. Admission to the exhibition is free. Best of all, all artwork sale proceeds go directly to the artist.
