Paddy’s Path is a 20-minute easy walk between Wye River and Separation Creek. The path follows much of the original tramway track that linked the timber mills at Separation Creek to Wye River (c 1910). The path was dedicated to Patrick James (Paddy) Harrington a local legendary pioneer who regularly traversed the hill between his home and the hotel in Wye River.
The trail starts behind the CFA building and winds its way through native bushland above the iconic Great Ocean Road. From the Separation Creek end, Paddy’s Path starts at the end of Stanway Drive. The path features amazing views and lots of local bird life….keep a watch out for migrating whales in the cooler months!
