Tarndwarncoort

Tarndie (for short) is an historic working sheep farm with accommodation and a farm-gate Woolshop set amongst one of Victoria’s oldest surviving homesteads.

The Dennis family have been growing wool at Tarndie (short for Tarndwarncoort) since 1840. Tarndie is the birthplace of the first Australian breed of sheep – Polwarth.

Accommodation in two properties allows visitors to gain a fuller experience of life on a sheep farm. The Farmer’s Cottage has two bedrooms for up to four guests. The Stables Studio is perfect for one or two guests.
