About

La Perouse is a small hotel by the sea located in Lorne, a popular destination on the Great Ocean Road, halfway between Melbourne and the Apostles. The lovely establishment has undergone an extensive transformation over the past decade. There are four beautifully appointed rooms all with ensuites, some have baths as well. Breakfast is served daily from 8:30am in the La Perouse kitchen or on the terrace Parisian style, depending on the weather.

The small hotel by the sea has welcomed travelers since 2007. Located within walking distance to all of Lorne’s attractions. Every day is an opportunity for discovery: boutiques, waterfalls, restaurants, the art gallery in the bush and the magic of the Great Ocean Road and beyond.

Small but perfectly formed the building’s architectural details feature timber inside and out to give a coastal feel. The garden is a work of love and the kitchen, complete with library provide a variety of private spaces to chat, read a book or just relax. Or you can just sit and watch the ever changing scenery from your private terrace or on the green complete with ocean view for an afternoon aperitif before heading out for dinner.
