Printmaking with Texture and Tone – Collagraphy

Join a two day workshop with artist Britt Gow exploring collagraphy, a very versatile printmaking technique where a collage is made on rigid substrate, sealed and used as a printing plate.

You will learn how to construct collagraph plates by cutting into cardboard, applying various mediums and layering cutouts. The plates are then sealed with shellac. The next day you will ink the plates and use a printing press to create multiple images with a variety of textures and tones.
