The Surf Coast Arts Trail is an annual celebration of creativity, inviting visitors to explore more than 65 studios, galleries and creative spaces across one of Victoria’s most inspiring regions. Over one vibrant weekend, more than 300 artists open their doors, giving you the opportunity to meet the makers, experience art where it is created and purchase original work directly from the artist.
From the coast to the hinterland, discover everything from painting, ceramics and sculpture to photography, textiles, jewellery and glass. You’ll find participating artists in Aireys Inlet, Anglesea, Bellbrae, Bells Beach, Deans Marsh, Fairhaven, Freshwater Creek, Gherang, Jan Juc, Lorne, Moriac, Paraparap, Torquay and Winchelsea. Wander at your own pace, uncover hidden creative spaces, chat with local artists and enjoy the cafés, wineries and coastal villages that make the Surf Coast a destination in itself. On Saturday evening, continue the experience with Arts Trail After Hours, featuring live music, performances and creative experiences across the region.
Start planning your journey by visiting the Surf Coast Arts Trail website or pick up a printed Arts Trail map from a Visitor Information Centres across the Surf Coast and Bellarine.
