Celebrate Heritage Month with a free guided heritage walk through Warrnambool led by costumed guides, concluding at Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village for an optional Heritage Afternoon Tea.
Join a special Warrnambool City Heritage Walk, where the stories of the city are brought to life by passionate costumed Friends of Flagstaff Hill Guides.
Beginning at Civic Green, this free guided walk will uncover stories of early settlers, maritime trade, civic pride, military history, iconic buildings and the colourful characters who helped shape Warrnambool into the city it is today.
The walk will take approximately 35 minutes, concluding at Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village. Warrnambool locals can enjoy complimentary village entry if already a Flagstaff Hill Ambassador, or join on the day.
After the walk, you have the option of enjoying the heritage afternoon tea at 2:00 PM, at an additional cost. This event is limited to 20 guests, bookings are essential by 14 May. Please check the event website for details on booking.
