Guided by the gentle light of the off-season, you will select a hand-picked vintage soup tureen as your vessel. You will learn the Victorian art of coaxing sun-yellow daffodils into early bloom, nesting pre-chilled bulbs into rich soil and finishing your masterpiece with a lush carpet of velvet forest moss.
As you work, enjoy a slow-paced afternoon on the farm. They will pause for traditional tea and home-baked cake, allowing time to share stories and admire the unique character of your heirloom porcelain.
You can choose from their collection of authentic, antique porcelain vessels. The workshop also includes specially prepared and ‘pre-rooted’ Sun-Yellow Daffodil Bulb, Jonquils and Hyacinths so they are ready to grow as soon as you take them home. They will provide forest moss and materials and everything you need to create a professional, layered botanical display. A Victorian-inspired botanical card with tips to ensure your tureen blooms beautifully on your windowsill will also be provided.
A seasonal spread of tea and cake will be provided to enjoy while the flower fields rest outside.
Join in for a moment of calm and greenery before the busy spring season begins.
