If you come to Flagstaff Hill, you will be in for a big surprise as this is the day the teddy bears have their picnic. Bring along a packed lunch or choose from their range of delicious food options, then settle in for a relaxed picnic with your teddies, family and friends.
There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the day, including live music and bear-themed story time. If your teddy is missing an eye, losing a little stuffing, or simply feeling a bit flat, a visit to the Teddy Hospital might be just what they need to feel better. Visitors of all ages can also create a special picnic outfit for their teddy using repurposed materials.
The Village Bear is excited about seeing everyone again and is looking forward to lots of bear hugs, smiles and photos.
This year, in the lead up to the event, children can take part in their colouring-in competition. Entries in four categories will be in the running to win one of four fun and delicious family picnic experiences valued at $120.
