Cape Otway Lightstation is considered Australia’s most significant lighthouse. The light established in 1848 is perched on towering sea cliffs 90 metres above where Bass Straight and the Southern Ocean collide.
The lightstation’s operations schedule has changed – please visit the website before planning your visit. Access to the Lightstation Heritage Precinct and Lighthouse is by pre-booked tour only.
