Nelson Cottage is a traditional Bed and Breakfast located in Nelson, Victoria that has been recently renovated whilst retaining its heritage charm.

Conveniently located close to the hotel, kiosk, service station, and Glenelg River, Nelson Cottage is ideally located for hikers undertaking the ‘Great South West Walk’ or ‘The Aussie Camino’.

Nelson Cottage is the perfect stopover if you are travelling between Melbourne and Adelaide. It also offers a tranquil base for holidaymakers exploring the various activities in South West Victoria and Limestone Coast Regions which include kayaking, hiking, fishing, birdwatching, swimming and sightseeing.

Nelson Cottage offers six guest rooms that have been refurbished to provide modern comfort with hints of a bygone era. Guests can enjoy a delicious complimentary continental breakfast including freshly brewed coffee, tea, juice, yoghurt, muesli and toast in the dining room with views of the River and abundant local wildlife. Cooked breakfast, picnic lunch or dinner is available by prior arrangement at an additional cost.

Nelson Cottage also provides a shared guest living area, sunroom, and guest beverage area with filtered water, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

Accommodating up to 15 guests, group bookings are welcome.
