Head to Cobden’s Racecourse Reserve, Grayland St on the third Sunday of the month and every Sunday of the school holidays.
There you will find four family affordable activities open from 11am, that will provide hours of entertainment.
Mini Trains: All ages will enjoy the trains at only $3 per ride. The Buffet Car tearooms sell hot and cold food and drinks and there is an undercover area which has a barbeque hire, picnic tables and a playground nearby. Open 11am-4pm.
Mini Golf: An 18-hole mini golf course set in garden surroundings Adults cost $6 and kids $3 and there’s a prize for every hole in one. Open 11am-4pm.
Cobden Pioneer Park: Houses authentic pioneer buildings, relics, buggies and re-creations of the local dairy and agricultural history. At only $5 a family it is well worth a visit. Open 11am-4pm.
Cobden Historical Society: A wealth of local history photos, relics and interesting information about the history of Cobden and surrounding districts. The volunteers welcome your family history enquiries. Open 11am-3.30pm.
