On a schedule? Taste the region in one spot

On a schedule? Taste the region in one spot

There are so many food and beverage products across the Great Ocean Road region, that it would take you days or weeks to get around to all the cellar doors and farm gates. So, if you’re a foodie on a schedule, a one-stop-shop is pretty appealing.

At the Great Ocean Road Brewhouse in Apollo Bay, there’s literally a one-stop-shop called Tastes of the Region.

It’s full to the brim with all types of artisan food and drink made in the Otways region.

You’ll find an abundance of:

  • cheese
  • meat products
  • herbs and spices
  • chocolate
  • sauce, chutney and oil
  • jams and honey
  • cider, wine, gin, whisky and craft beer

There’s also handmade gifts with a local edge.

You can taste most of the products at the store, or, relax and enjoy a beer or wine paddle and a platter of amazing food. It’s also a great place to pick the brains of the Great Ocean Road Brewhouse staff about the Prickly Moses beer-making process.

”‹So, if you’re on a tight schedule and want to devour as much local produce as you can – as well as pick up a stash for home – call into the Tastes of the Region store, right next to the Great Ocean Road Brewhouse.
