The first thing to know about winter family getaways in Victoria is that our local experts have put together heaps of information, recommendations and plans for Victorian winter holiday destinations on The Great Ocean Road.
Our blog also offers a full list of posts about family friendly activities.
Larger townships like Lorne and Apollo Bay can offer a more diverse range of things to see and do. In Lorne for example, there are the family-famous foreshore trampolines as well as more difficult ropes courses and ziplines for teenagers with a sense of adventure! There are also spas, restaurants and pubs for parents who want to unwind. But in our smaller towns there are different opportunities — such as spending some quality family time together exploring the local history and galleries, or sharing a delicious cake in a cafe overlooking farmlands.
No matter where you decide to stay there are multitudes of activities on the Great Ocean Road throughout the year. Check out our What to See and Do page to learn more!
