Traditional Surf Life Saving sport disciplines will be delivered at the Port Campbell SLSC.
Events and Activities will include Surfboats. These activities will be supported by Inflatable Rescue Boats (IRB’s) and Jet Skis patrolling the water areas for safety purposes.
The Carnival will run for seven hours. Surfboat races take between five-seven minutes each, depending on the width of the course there could be between three-six boats. Age groups are from U19, U23, Reserve Grade and Open Male and Female categories.
Participants are all competent in their age category award with a minimum Bronze Medalion qualification.
Water safety numbers for all events are monitored by an Area Risk Response Officer.
