Scheherazade weaves her tales through Rimsky-Korsakov’s epic work. In true Inventi style, they take on the challenge of arranging this large scale work for small ensemble. Rich storytelling paired with incredible music, this concert weaves tale after tale from the story of 1001 Nights including three brand new works by Australian composers.

Inventi are a leading force in Australian music. Award winning performances in Australian concert halls and festivals have led to an enthusiastic following of their innovative programming and outstanding style. They are one of the most prolific chamber ensembles in Australia, with over 80 diverse concerts in their 2023 season. Inventi is an exciting voice in Australian music. Their shows are an interactive experience, seamlessly combining music, visuals and other effects.

Inventi regularly work with a diverse range of collaborators from animators to storytellers, artists and songwriters. Renowned for their impressive arrangements of large-scale works for chamber ensemble, they regularly commission and perform new works by living Australian composers. Their discography is growing, with two of their albums released back in Nov 2020: ‘Women of the Earth’ and ‘Peer Gynt’, which debuted in the Top 20 of the ARIA Charts.
