About

2022 will see the return of the much anticipated Business and Tourism awards. The awards continue to attract huge nomination interest from local businesses across the Shire with each category sponsored by peers. Judging of the awards is facilitated independently by Small Business Mentoring Services (SBMS), who also provide mentoring sessions for each of the category finalists. Winners of each category are announced and presented at the Gala Awards evening.

The awards include 11 business and tourism categories, two individual categories and an overall Business of the Year category. The awards are open to all businesses and individuals located within the Glenelg Shire. Entries will open on Monday 28 February 2022 and close on Friday 25 March 2022. Judging, mentoring sessions and interviews will be held throughout April, with the Gala Awards Night to be held on Saturday 7 May 2022.

The Glenelg Shire is proud to publicly acknowledge and reward the outstanding businesses and individuals who provide excellence in their chosen field and encourage the local sector to excel and exceed industry standards.
