About

The Casterton P&A Show is an annual, family friendly event held on the second Saturday of November. The showgrounds are set on the banks of the Glenelg River under the majestic red gums at Island Park.

The Casterton Show is a traditional show featuring an indoor pavilion, trade exhibits, horses in action, sheep, wool, yard dog trials, poultry section Stockman’s challenge and recently quick shear. Their committee is always looking to improve the show and in recent years has introduced new additions such as the Bendigo Bank Kids Club offering a host of free all day entertainment.

Their aim is to host a traditional Agricultural Show which provides competitions and entertainment for families and all members of the public.

Their goal is to continue to provide a wide range of affordable family friendly entertainment and to give local business and community groups the opportunity to promote themselves.

They actively seek and encourage new members to join the Casterton Pastoral and Agricultural Society as they work together to promote their town and all the benefits it provides to their local community and visitors.
