Walking

The Great Ocean Road region is a natural for walking, hiking, rambling and ambling, whatever your ability or experience level. There’s no better way to communicate with nature and check out the scenery than to lace up your comfy shoes, strap on a backpack and hit the trail.

As well as the Great Ocean Road’s iconic walks, there are the town walks in each destination, walks that will allow you to discover Rail Trails, Museums, Historical and Heritage Listed Buildings and more. Call into a Visitor Information Centre to pick up your copy of the towns’ map and chat to a local.

There’s no better way to enjoy the coast, the countryside or the township.
