About

Right here in the hinterland of the Great Ocean Road, using Australia’s finest fibres, Great Ocean Road Woollen Mill create luxurious yarns and knitwear.

The Woollen Mill is currently open to visitors by appointment (24 hour notice required) and of course our online store is always open.

They are a small, family-operated business producing small-batch yarns and knits using superfine merino, alpaca, cotton and Polwarth. All our products are 100 per cent Australian and they are the only spinning mill in Australia certified by Ethical Clothing Australia. In fact, nearly all ofthe fibre comes from Western Victoria.
