Relax in the friendly atmosphere of a fully restored bluestone Georgian private guesthouse of historical importance. Originally built in 1853, Victoria House Portland has a long history of making people very welcome.
Enjoy complimentary Port or Sherry and fruit cake in front of the open fire, relax with a good book in the sunroom, or take time to smell the roses in the garden.
All rooms have comfortable furnishing, reverse cycle heating/cooling, en-suite bathrooms, some have bathtubs with complimentary Himalayan/Epsom salt mix.
Victoria House is located one block to the sea, harbour, main shopping precinct, cafes bars and restaurants. It is also within five minutes walk to Portland’s cable tram, the Information Centre, Maritime Museum, the District Hospital and the lovely botanical gardens.
