Lake Bullen Merri and Gnotuk Lookout

A fantastic lookout. An interpretive sign describes the dynamics of the lakes and the reasons for their differing salinity.


The clover shape of Bullen Merri’s collapsed craters and the salt rimmed perimeter of Gnotuk look resplendent against the deep green of the surrounding landscape. Electric BBQ facilities are provided in the Botanic Gardens (no coins required). Drive through the Lakes and Craters Holiday Park and around past the Botanical gardens.
