From Wye River to Marengo

Possibly one of the most spectacular areas of the Otways Coast is between Lorne and Apollo Bay and surrounds Wye River, Kennett River and Wongarra. The journey from Lorne to Apollo Bay is approximately 43kms long and takes about 35 minutes by car. This does not include stops at lookouts which you will want to include in your planning. So much to experience

You can bush walk along the Great Ocean Walk to experience some spectacular coastal scenery. Go to the beach for an inspirational walk. Or swim in season or surf all year round. Many people also come hang-gliding and windsurfing as well.

Go horse riding on the beach or play a round of golf overlooking the ocean at Apollo Bay. The choices are endless.

From Marengo to Johanna

The Great Ocean Road heads inland to Lavers Hill and the Great Otway National Park. Along the way you'll discover Maits Rest, Cape Otway (back towards the coast and Hordern Vale. Further on Glenaire and Johanna offer spectacular views and experiences.
