Ocean Grove's restaurants offer something to please every taste - from authentic Thai, to modern gourmet, to a tub of chips and gravy. The main street of Ocean Grove is lined with al fresco dining opportunities, all with delicious fresh foods. For a casual lunch after a morning in the sand the local chicken shop is very popular with the younger generation, whilst the ice cream bar across the road is guaranteed to get your mouth watering when the sun is shining. The Mex, Bark Hut Restaurant and Mandala Creativity are popular local eateries. More formal restaurants are also available, with a variety of quality meals and service offered for that special evening out.

The Dunes, located right on top of the Ocean Grove main beach, is a magnificent way to dine with a spectacular view.

Ocean Grove Marketplace supplies visitors with their fast food cravings and fish and chips.

And further along Grubb Road, towards the Queenscliff Highway is award winning Oakdene Vineyards & Restaurant.

Cafes

Ocean Grove epitomizes cafe culture. Casual coffees with friends on the weekend is almost obligatory to the locals and the pleasure is shared by most visitors. With plenty of spots along the main strip to stop by and enjoy a homemade cake or a light lunch, it's almost impossible not to.

The bronze fins along the main street add character to the area and with the sun shining down and a gentle breeze blowing, it truly is bliss to enjoy a long and lazy afternoon at one of Ocean Grove's cafes.

The Terrace shopping

You can buy just about anything along the main street of Ocean Grove.

If you're after an outfit, there's surfwear shops, women's fashion stores, men's clothing stores, and a shoe shop.

Jewellery is available in many stores, from fine gold and silver to funky beads and chunky chains.

Gorgeous children's clothes can also be found at various shops, and the toy shop will keep the kids amused for a long while.

Whatever you are after there's no doubt you'll find something you simply have to take home with you from Ocean Grove at one of the many delightful shops along The Terrace.

Ocean Grove Marketplace

Ocean Grove marketplace, first opened around summer 05/06, is a shopping complex just out of town on the way to Queenscliff.

With gorgeous children's clothes, a relaxing day spa and bargains galore at the two dollar shop, the marketplace is becoming more and more popular as time goes by.

Fast food restaurants are a hit with the younger generation, whilst the opening of Safeway here has provided competition for Coles as well as a stack of jobs for local high school students

The marketplace is still relatively new and a great place to stop by and check out during your visit to Ocean Grove.
