Get Ready For The Surf Coast Century!
This event offers options for a spectacular 50 kilometre or 100 kilometre ultra-marathon showcasing the best of the Surf Coast and Great Ocean Road region. Push yourself to the limits and along a course that features magnificent ocean vistas, towering limestone and sandstone cliffs, long stretching sandy beaches, wildflower displays and native wildlife. The 100 kilometre course takes runners through the key highlights of the Surf Coast, from Anglesea to Torquay before heading back to Aireys Inlet. Ticking off hinterland trails, clifftop tracks and the popular Point Roadknight Beach.
1. Lorne’s Walks and Waterfalls
Discover the seaside town of Lorne and it’s spectacular 10 waterfalls within 10 kilometres, showcasing a variety of waterfalls and tracks for all hiking abilities. Looking to get some pre-training in before the Surf Coast Century? Why not tackle the strenuous 7.5 kilometre Erskine Falls Walk with water crossings, rocky paths and some steep sections. Continue your outdoor adventure and complete the 44 kilometre stretch of the entire Surf Coast Walk. Beginning in Torquay, this coastal walk passes through Point Addis Marina National Park, the famous Bells Beach, Anglesea Heath and Split Point Lighthouse.

3. Trail Bike Riding
Explore what makes Anglesea a popular choice for biking enthusiast with the numerous mountain bike trails surrounding the Anglesea Heath and Park’s Victoria’s Eumeralla Trails. There’s a variety of tracks for all ages and abilities.
If that’s not enough, head over to the Anglesea Bike Park with 400 metres of mountain cross jumps and tracks that will certainly impress.
