Let me help you plan your Great Ocean Road trip
I am here to help you explore the Great Ocean Road region, but I’m still learning and can make mistakes. For the best local advice, visit a visitor information centre. This is a large region, so plan for travel distances and your length of stay.
Hello
15 minutes from both Port Campbell and Timboon, Villa Mala is set on a beautiful 1.5 acre sustainably built property 150m from the famous Boggy Creek Pub, and just 300m from the river boat ramp and recreation area of Curdievale.
Villa Mala is above the garage and is equipped with a small kitchen which includes gas stove/oven, microwave, and everyday essentials including coffee/tea facilities, spices, oil, etc. The living room has a smart television and Bluetooth speaker to enjoy. They try their best to do right by the planet, and use environmentally friendly products in the space, including quality bamboo blend linens.
Feel free to wander the gardens, pop into their blacksmithing workshop and say g’day, or enjoy an outdoor fire or barbeque in your alfresco area. They also have a mowed track that leads to the river directly from the backyard!
300m down the road is a boat ramp and recreation area. A great spot if you want to go fishing, kayaking, boating, etc. The river takes you all the way to the estuary in Peterborough.
