Garden Studio 70

Nestled on one acre, this welcoming garden is where designer and maker, Jill Edwards creates. Her artworks have been appreciated by many who have followed her creative journey throughout the years.
The artist designed garden is productive and inspirational; one of orchard, veggie patch and shady trees. There are quiet places to sit, secret pathways to follow and garden rooms to discover. An inviting entryway under a vine-covered verandah leads to a gallery of Jill’s creative diversity.

Jill is best described as a visual storyteller and mixed media artist. Her handbound books reveal her connection to and love of garden and coastal surrounds. You will find in them, layers of intrigue with altered photography, botanical contact prints, stitchdrawing, handmade papers and more. Her jewellery too has this magical layering of beautiful components, beads, wire, and the unexpected. Her colour selection is sublime. There is often a sense of vintage about her work.
Jill also designs a range of unique bags, using robust and characterful Australian leather.

Each season Garden Studio 70 presents a new exhibition of Jill’s creations.

Spring 2022 is “Vines of Time’’. A collection of twelve bound books “of seasons and time”.

Usually open Saturday to Wednesday 1:00pm – 5:00 pm

When the flag is out they are home. Appointments are welcome any other time.
